Small, close community feeling ...

“As my child explores the wonders of this world, I wanted him to know that its God almighty which makes this all possible. Learning at Assumption makes this possible and gave the child a sense of belongingness within the friendly parish community.”

--Denny Panakal

“I like to send my children to this school because it is a small catholic school with good discipline, and they take care of each student. My kids feel like it’s their home.”

--Tina Garoyan

“...The second I walked into Assumption Academy, I had that warm, fuzzy feeling, as if I were home. My son is now in 6th grade and thriving. His transfer was one of the best decisions I have ever made.”

--Eileen Bamrick

Closer to God ...

“It's a good place to trust your child to raise and learn about GOD.”

--Asadour Ghougas

“My number one reason is spiritual nourishment. Secondly, strong discipline and last, but the least, an excellent education. I personally believe that my son will be better off spiritually, morally and intellectually in a catholic school.”

--Remy Sinha

Safe, nurturing environment...

“My wife attended and graduated Assumption (She was in Mary Pacella’s 1St class.) She was a cheerleading Coach and the Art Teacher for a few years. We know Assumption provides a good education in a safe and nurturing environment.”

--John Dennehy

“Our initial decision to have our kindergartener attend Assumption Academy was because we wanted him to go through a catholic program and be introduced to the catholic religion. It is half way through the year, and we have added many more reasons to why we will continue our little guy's education at Assumption Academy. The Assumption Academy teachers are outstanding. The small class size offers more individualized attention for the students. We also love the feeling of community that the school offers. The pre-school program is excellent, and the best cost value around.”

--Jim and Lisa Esposito

“This is the first year that our son, Joey Fisco, is in Assumption. We moved him over from public school, and we believe it was the best thing that we ever did. He has done very well, and it's the first year that he actually likes school. He comes home and does his homework on his own and likes his classes and teachers. This year has been a pleasure.”

--Al and Maria Fisco

Quality education means success later on...

“To receive a quality faith based education.”

--Stephen Toth

“You know my 4 daughters (3 of whom graduated) all went to Assumption, and Maraide is currently in the 7th grade. My girls were all very prepared for high school and still have some of their Assumption friends. My oldest is 20 and a sophomore in college. She attended USC on a $64,000 academic Scholarship. Lauren will be 18 and is a senior in high school. She recently won the Edward Bloustein distinguished honors award. Dina is in the 10th grade. All 4 girls always loved going to Assumption every day. School was nothing but a positive experience for them.

I love that you can send your preschooler there as well. What a stress relief for those with 3 or more children. All in all the tuition is very reasonable, and I feel completely safe with my children being in a locked (at all times) facility. The teachers are wonderful, many have been there a long time, and we all know that they could be making more money elsewhere, but they like to teach at Assumption. I have been at Assumption for 15 years.”

--Mrs. Cifelli

“It is much more than a school; we are members not only of Emerson's community but also a part of the parish family. We are extremely pleased with how the education is being taught to our son. You walk into the school at anytime, and you feel the sincere welcoming when you cross any of the teacher's paths in the hallways. The teachers take great pride in having our children in their classrooms.”

 --Andrea Pendas

“For educational and spiritual reasons. There is also a better environment in Assumption Academy.”

--Maricela Alvarado

Wonderful teachers, wonderful students...

“One of the best decisions my wife and I ever made was to send our two girls to Assumption Academy. As a family, we love Assumption Academy for its quality academics, the Christian based education, the caring dedication shown by the faculty and staff, and the warm family atmosphere which exists within the school.

Our faith begins at home, but we take comfort in knowing our children are receiving positive reinforcement and encouragement, as well as learning strong family values throughout the school day. Assumption Academy is small enough that my children receive plenty of personal attention and help. The teachers know all of the students throughout the school so there is accountability at all times. My daughters love attending Assumption Academy.

The top-notch education and the special bonds of friendship they have made at Assumption are priceless. It is a home away from home for them, certainly the ideal school for any child to grow.

My wife and I are fortunate to have two daughters who are intelligent, kind hearted and respectful thanks in large part to the teachings at Assumption Academy. We love this school and are very proud to be a part of something special.”
