Financial Assistance is available to Assumption Academy students through two avenues: · Inner City Scholarship Funds (via public and Archdiocese sources) and · Educational Scholarship Foundation (through private fundraising specifically to benefit Assumption Academy students) Tuition rates for the 2010-2011 school year areas follows: | Program | | Yearly Tuition | Per Day Equivalent | Per Hour Equivalent | | Elementary (K-8) | | $4140 per child | $23.00 | $3.30 | | Pre-K, 2½-4 | 5 half days | $3505 per child | $19.50 | $5.60 | | Pre-K, 2½-4 | 5 full days | $4625 per child | $25.50 | $3.70 | | Pre-K 2½-3 | 3 full days | $3375 per child | $31.25 | $4.50 | | Pre-K 2½-3 | 3 half days | $2565 per child | $23.75 | $6.80 | The following discounts will apply in the 2010-2011 school year for families with multiple children: · Two children: 15% of total tuition · Three or more children: 25% of total tuition These discounts will gradually be reduced over the next four years: Multiple Student Discount (The discount rate is taken from the total tuition.) | Academic Year | Two Children Discount | Three (or more) Children Discount | | 2010-2011 | 15% | 25% | | 2011-2012 | 12.5% | 22.5% | | 2012-2013 | 10% | 20% | | 2013-2014 | 8% | 17.5% | | 2014-2015 | 8% | 16% | Fees In order to secure your child’s place at Assumption Academy, the following fees must be paid upon registration: · Registration fee: $50 per child before March 15; $75 per child after March 15. · Technology fee: $115 per child to a maximum of $345 per family PSO fee: This fee covers various events sponsored by the PSO (Parent School Organization). The fee will cover the costs associated for Catholic Schools Week, teacher’s Christmas and year end gifts, at least 2 assemblies during the year, donation for class basket donations and other items. · One child $ 70 · Two children $ 115 · Three (or more) children $ 140 There is a separate schedule of fundraisers that will be distributed by the Parent School Organization.
